CGS routinely provides Phase II Subsurface Investigation services for a client who regularly acquires retail shopping centers throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US. Common concerns associated with these projects are potential releases from gas stations and dry cleaners. The team evaluates the environmental impact as well as potential human health risks, and provides solutions to mitigate risks and manage long-term liability. CGS helps the client to quantify the site cleanup cost and/or mitigation of the risk, facilitating the successful execution of deals while protecting the client’s interest in the transaction.
